TOP 10 • RESETS EVERY MONDAY
Only teams that finish every question are eligible for the Top 10 leaderboard. First tries earn 100 points, second tries earn 60, and later correct tries earn 25. A skipped question earns zero. Tied scores are ranked by the shortest completed quest time.
PLAN YOUR ADVENTURE
Everything your team should know before heading downtown.
One Scenic City Quest team pass costs $19.99 and covers one selected quest for a team of up to four guests.
Each team pass covers one to four guests playing together on one device. Larger groups should purchase another pass and compete as a separate team.
Plan for about one hour. Your pace, children, photo challenges, optional discoveries and nearby business stops can make the adventure longer.
For the complete walking experience, begin between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Visitor Information Center and River Gallery close at 5 p.m., and some areas may be unavailable later.
Your 24-hour access window begins as soon as Stripe confirms payment. The quest remains available on the purchasing device until that window ends.
A pass is designed for one team on one device. If a phone is lost, damaged or replaced, contact Scenic City Quest for help transferring legitimate unused access.
Every scored question has an objectively correct answer. A correct first attempt earns 100 points, a second attempt earns 60, and later attempts earn 25. Teams may skip for zero points.
Media challenges are part of the fun, but upload only images your team is comfortable saving. Children should be photographed only with a parent or guardian's permission.
Bring a charged smartphone with mobile data, comfortable shoes, water and weather-appropriate clothing. Biking teams should also bring helmets and follow traffic rules.
Follow posted signs and never enter a closed or unsafe area. Use the zero-point skip if a clue is inaccessible, and contact us if a major closure prevents completion.
IMPORTANT PARTICIPATION TERMS
This summary is provided for clarity. Every purchaser must affirmatively accept the complete agreement displayed before checkout.
Scenic City Quest provides self-guided entertainment and general navigational suggestions only. Participants control their own route, pace, transportation and conduct. Participants must remain alert, use lawful pedestrian and bicycle facilities, obey traffic controls and posted rules, avoid restricted or unsafe areas, and discontinue participation whenever conditions appear hazardous. Digital directions, maps, landmarks, hours and access conditions may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or changed without notice.
Participation involves known and unknown risks associated with public streets, sidewalks, crossings, stairs, hills, trails, weather, traffic, construction, crowds, animals, water, bicycles, physical exertion and the acts or omissions of participants and third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, each adult participant knowingly and voluntarily assumes these risks and accepts responsibility for personal safety, property and supervision of minors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless Scenic City Quest and its owners, operators, contractors, affiliates and representatives from claims arising from ordinary negligence connected with participation, route information, public conditions or third-party conduct. This provision is not intended to waive rights that cannot legally be waived, including claims that applicable law prohibits from being released.
The purchaser must be at least 18 years old and authorized to accept the agreement for the purchasing team. When a minor participates, the purchaser represents that the purchaser is the minor's parent or legal guardian, or has obtained permission from the minor's parent or legal guardian, and accepts responsibility for continuous adult supervision.
Media uploads may be stored with the team's game record. Social-media and promotional permission is separate and optional. If selected at checkout, the purchaser grants Scenic City Quest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to reproduce, edit, publish and display submitted photos or videos for lawful promotional and social-media purposes and confirms permission from every identifiable person, including a parent or legal guardian for each identifiable minor. Declining promotional permission does not prevent purchase or private challenge uploads.
Uploaded media is not sold. Promotionally authorized media may remain in published materials until reasonably removed after a valid request, although prior lawful uses and third-party resharing may not be fully retractable. Teams should never upload intimate, unsafe, unlawful or highly sensitive material and should avoid displaying addresses, license plates or other private information.
